This isn't so much a hack or mod but a tip.
Often I'm using multiple windows and devices whilst logged into the DSM web GUI as my admin user. Sometimes I'm not doing much so its auto-logout times out and I need to log in again.
But with some package windows open in the GUI the timer is suspended:

- CMS when viewing the Server page.
- Hyper Backup
- Storage Manager
