Hello all,

I'm fairly new to Docker in general, but I would really like to give the Plausible analytics app a go. Would anyone be willing to help me with some directions how to accomplish the setup, as described here?

Thank you!

@zkvvoob I know this thread is nearly a year old but have you been able to get this working with Docker Compose?

I've come across two articles (TheOrangeOne and Garron) for getting this going, which both deviate from the original documentation you linked. I too have struggled to get this up and running with Docker Compose and have recently installed Portainer and will try to see if I can get it running and hope to report back soon.

Anyone else using Plausible through Portainer using stacks?

Must have missed this topic early on.

Looking at the documentation and the docker-compose nothing special there.

You can run the stack in Portainer using the data from here: hosting/docker-compose.yml at master · plausible/hosting

Be sure to change the volume paths to match your local destinations. Another element to watch out is the ENV file. Portainer does not have the option to load up ENV file in the way it is declared in the docker-compose file.

So be sure to use Portainer 2.9 that will allow you load up the parameters from an ENV file here: hosting/plausible-conf.env at master · plausible/hosting

Apart from that, all should be default.
