Dear Experts,

i desperately try to config my Note-Station App on my iPhone. It works on my NAS, i routed the ports to the NAS and can login via HTTPS on Mac-App. On the Mac, everything works fine.

I used the same login on my iPhone, but it refuses to work. It says, i should check my network connection and IP-adress.
I also works on my iPhone with HTTP, but as i try to use a secured connection, it fails

Does anybody have an idea?

DS Note, DS Audio and DS Video have not worked since I updated my iPhone to iOS 15.3.
I'm waiting for a response from Synology support.

This issue does not occurs with Synology Photo or Synology Drive iOS app. DS Note, DS Audio and DS Video apps should be updated because they do not support recent TLS version.
Maybe iOS 15.3 dropped support for older TLS versions?

I hope Synology will update these apps.
 
On your iphone are you tying to connect when on the WiFi or cellular?

I updated to iOS 15.3 today. And I’ve just logged out of DS note and re-logged in. It worked.

In the bottom left of the login screen there’s a cog icon. Tap that and see if de-selecting Verify Certificate helps. Are you using an SSL certificate that covers the server name you are using in the login?

I tried that, its still not working. My Certificate matches my DDNS…
 
I managed to log into the app again by changing the TLS/SSL profile in the advanced settings (DSM Config Panel > Security > Advanced).
I switched from "Modern compatibility" to "Intermediate compatibility" and DS Note, DS Video and DS Music were able to connect again.

That worked, but i had to switch to "old compatibility". After, i was able to set up my App on my iPhone and then i even could switch back to "Modern compatibility" and it still works properly.

Glad to know it works!
For information, I got an answser from Synology about some old apps on iOS. Updates are coming!
(...) updates are planned to fix this problem
but here I have sent you a solution of contournment that our R&D team has sent us in order to fix it
Our developer who is in charge of this problem has registered it but he will need more time and resources to solve it.
Therefore, I recommend you to stay tuned for the update.
