Unfortunately Maria is not showing anything under Port Settings. (see imgs attached)
Also the yourls container stops every time the "refused connection"error occurs. :(
Do you have a volume map towards this file: /var/www/html/user/config.php? If so whats the content of it?

I don't think so. This should show up under the container and Volume tab, right?
How can I add this config file, via the terminal?
I've got a docker folder on my share, should I place it there, or is this the wrong path?

Add it as another -v command. Also you can use this config as a sample.

Like so?

Also @Telos thanks I've read your post, but I need some insights on the links.

Maybe @Rusty would be up to help me in the PNs, if it's too disturbing.
But on another note, maybe this helps someone else also in the future.

Correct

If you run yourls now, does it start? If not, check the content of that php file and look for:

Code:
$yourls_user_passwords = array(
  getenv('YOURLS_USER') => getenv('YOURLS_PASS'),

Can you see if your username and password is setup under this block? What error do you get (check the continer log, using the Log tab)?

no, I didn't change anything myself yet in the config file.
Should this automatically get overwritten when starting the container?

If you configure it like you did it means that your version of config file will be the one yourls will use. This way you can see if the values are set and if needed, set them yourself. Try and run the container now and see what happens.

Same error as before, but the values in the config file are still the "sample" ones.
Did I understand correctly, that the yourls container should overwrite them?
I'm currently in the process of altering them myself and try again.

my config now looks like this (I've overwritten it myself and swapped the file on the DS).
Still the same error.

ok, yeah I've tried that but it did throw the same error.
I can check again tomorrow, not around the network today.
But thanks so much for your help until now! :)

does the yourls container also have to run on the host network?
I did try both now, but either still throwing the "mysql connection refused error".

no there is no need for it to run on host network. It will be all the same. But the fact that you are still having the same problem could mean that there is a db problem (user, pass or db name).

We can go private at one point or I could TV to your side and help you with this if I had hands on.

Since I have SnapPass up and running, I’d like to complement it with yourls. However, I’m having problems. I‘m using MySQL and it comes up fine in its container but yourls has problems connecting to it. No particular preference for the use of MySQL, just thought it would be strait forward (and it looks like it’s fine by itself). But I can use another DB if this is problematic.

Thank you for any help.

That is about the GB Ethernet maximum speed. 984/ 8 = about 120MB/s relatively high, not an average.

If this is a one-time deal, it might be a good idea to do this through Resilio Sync instead.
