Where do you have your NAS? In a server rack? On a bookshelf? On a table? In the kitchen? Hopefully not in the bathroom.

You can photo your NAS or your entire network system and upload images.

Please upload your images in the Media gallery:

These are my 718 and 918 atm in a temporary location next to my network cabinet. They will soon be moving into a 42U rack server with the rest of the RS boys as soon as I make room in my basement and get one 19” shelf for them as well.

This is from the time when I had 412 and 918 in my old flat. Above them was 1900 AC and an OWC small single 2,5” USB3 enclosure that I use from time to time.

These are my rack RS and expansion bad boys

Not into these beauty contests, but here they are above my bookshelf.

Say what? The two white Ethernet cables? Yes OF COURSE they ARE temporary– this is meant for my wife to read :)

That little guy (the 118) is running mail, web and DNS servers in addition to Calendar and Hyper Backup. Very impressive.

Hidden in the back (right) out of sight is the UPS with many connections. I think it’s going to blow up any day now!

That thing in the middle is a StarTech dock. The one before it blew up!

Give it a try... ;-)

In my fusebox closet you'll find the following:
  • DS218J
  • APC 700 UPS
  • 2 Raspberry Pi running their root from a external 2.5" HDD - 1. Home Automation 2. PiHole/VPN server
  • Default provider Modem/router
  • 5 port network switch
  • HP Wireless printer

Installed a fans on the UPS/Raspberry Pi's due to the small space and heat in the summer.
Fusebox is located in my pantry where i also installed a fan to draw fresh air in.
All controled by a z-wave plug switched on/off according heat and humidity threshold.
UPS can keep this pantry setup running for almost 1.5hr.
