Hi everyone,
I'm completely new to LDAP so excuse my ignorance :) I'm trying to sync my Synology NAS to my Google Cloud Identity via LDAP.
I followed the instructions provided by Synology but they are a little incomplete. I successfully retry my users from Google but im not able to retry my OU (basically i want to give different permissions on my NAS for every OU).
Is there a way to configure it that way?

What about the mapping part of LDAP? Is it involved? I didnt find any guide about that.

Another question: if i set up LDAP on my NAS it automatically switch to SMB1, that is insecure. Is possible to switch it back to SMB2/3?

Thanks

Thanks :) Yes i considered that solution but we are required to stick with Google Workspace. Thanks anyway!

Sometimes a simple reset, mode 2 can shake out the kruft that has built up over time. I would also test RAM.
