OK, so something that I've been thinking about the CPU change between DSx18+ and DSx20+:

DS218+/DS418playdual core2.0 GHzburst to 2.5 GHz
DS718+/DS918+quad core1.5 GHzburst to 2.3 GHz
DS220+/DS420+dual core2.0 GHzburst to 2.9 GHz
DS720+/DS920+quad core2.0 GHzburst to 2.7 GHz

Don't know how the lower 1.5 GHz affected single thread processing, or was it purely as a way to lower the claimed power and heat in the data sheet.
