Why am I constantly getting booted from DSM?

I've been working in DSM quite a bit lately trying to get all my settings and apps set up the way I want them. It seems like some apps such as Moments, Active Backup, and Drive open in a separate tab in Internet Explorer. When this happens, DSM usually boots me out and makes me login again. Sometimes I'll get a message saying something along the lines of "You are not authorized to do this" before it boots me, but not always. I'll log back in with the exact same username/password, and then the offending app will work again. Aside from offending many of you with my use of Internet Explorer, what am I doing wrong?
 
Are you using an admin privileged user? If not, do so.

Sometimes you’ll need to authorize the the use of some apps to users. That’s in control panel > user > edit user > applications tab
Double check that the user ID you logged in with has permission to run and configure those apps (you should use an admin privileged user).

Admin privileged users can run anything usually but you can still control it. So double check the above.

That’s the only thing that comes to mind, although you’re saying it works when you login with the same user again, which is strange.

Let’s see if someone else has any “cunning” ideas :)

I have disabled the default admin account, but have set up a separate admin user that has as many of the permissions enabled as I can find. I'm still getting kicked out with that user. I'll get kicked out using the admin user, log back in, and get kicked out again. I logged in probably 15 times last night.
 
Here’s something about private browsing in Windows 10. Turn it off and try.

Sorry, this is Microsoft Edge, not IE exactly, and I am not using an inprivate window. The tabs also do not show the hashed inprivate icon in the left corner like shown in the screenshot. I'll have to try a different browser. I was getting really annoyed last night.

Yeah, try another one and see. It doesn’t happen here.
Also check the logout timer under control panel > security > general
Shouldn’t be the case but you can increase it.


Yeah, I don't think that's it; I was getting logged out within minutes of logging in, and the timer is currently set to 15. It was clearly related to opening the separate app tabs. It'll leave me alone as long as I work in DSM in a single tab. Once I try opening moments and it auto-launches into a new tab, then it kicks me out. I don't know if it thinks that those 2 tabs are for some reason separate users?
 
On the same browser you can’t login to any site with different accounts at the same time. Or if you have two tabs/windows open and log out of one then the other logs out too.

I'd think it shouldn't be logging in with a different user when it launches moments; it should be using the same user that I had opened DSM with. I am not trying to open different tabs with different users. I'm working on this now from firefox, and haven't gotten booted yet, so maybe it is a browser issue. Small sample size so far though.
