I've got a pair or 960 EVO NVMe's for my DS923+ that I use for caching. It works fine, but out of curiosity.. If I get myself some 990's instead, which seems insanely much faster than the 960, can the DS923+ utilize that speed?

Hey all I have a Ds1918+ with 7.1 and have tried 2x different Pcie cards with 2x same size Nvme drives. The issue I’m having is that it only sees 1x Nvme and only allow read cache. Are these locked down to only Synology Pcie cards? If not can anyone suggest one that works? Thanks Dan

Hi, Anyone tried a non Synology M.2 NVMe SSD? I want to add to use as storage pool. Can add that I added a KSM26SED8/16HD Kingston 16GB module to my NAS and it works, the included 4GB module is still installed resulting in 20GB total RAM.
