2x8GB ram not work

hello everyone.

I just bought a new DS1819+ with 2x8GB crucial ram (CT8G4SFS824A)
I tried to install the new rams but this happend to me and i really dont know what to do with this.

If i put any ram in the right ram slot nas works great
If i put any ram in the left slot or install both of them the nas not boot up only blue led blinking.
If i put original synology ram in the left slot it works.
If i put original synology ram in the left slot and crucial in the right it works too and i get the 12GB

Can anyone tell me what happening and why and what it the solution for this?

Thx guys

Incompatible ram that will not work without Syno module inside it. You will need to get a replacement ram if you want to run dual crucial modules. I had the same situation with my 918. Until I swapped them for a different model, it didn't wanna boot properly.

Thx can you recommend me a model which works with my 1819+?

follow oficial Crucial web site (setup for DS1819+):
your RAM PN: CT8G4SFS824A is recommended by Crucial for your model

for 2x8GB kit they have different PN:
CT2K8G4SFS824A
what is absolute same model as yours, just two modules under single PN

https://www.crucial.com/compatible-upgrade-for/synology/ds1819-

then you can use this evidence for a replacement
better is contact Crucial Support and describe this situation

I'll add a late data point here... On my 418play I checked the RAM specs that Synology published and manually matched that up (Crucial site had no results) to

Crucial 16GB (2 x 8GB)
204-Pin DDR3 SO-DIMM DDR3L
1866 (PC3L 14900)
Notebook Memory Model CT2K102464BF186D

Started without a hitch today. I'll run a memtest tonight... maybe

The processor in that model is an AMD Ryzen V1780B, it supports 32 GB maximum, as listed on Synology's site.

Rusty's is 1.35 volts, yours is not. Yours is also dual-ranked, FWIW.
