I often need to put my phone on do not disturb for a short time while attending a meeting or if in a place that demands silence and respect.
Easy to do, however, I usually forget to un-silence it!

While looking for something to do with iOS shortcuts I came across a DND timer shortcut. Exactly what I need :)

You must allow third party shortcuts to be installed to use it. Go to Settings, find Shortcuts and switch on “Allow Untrusted Shortcuts”.
Go to this Cnet page and scroll until you find “Add do not disturb timer to your shortcuts app” and tap it.
Consider adding the shortcuts widget to your widgets so it’ll be a swipe away.

Take note that this is not like using the silence switch on the side of the phone. This activates the phone’s DND for the duration of the time set by the shortcut.

Enjoy :)

M8 you need change your behaviour
Be open and be available
You never know, when Bill Gates will call you, that you won a license for Win10

PS:
for me is DND shortcut enough. Because just me only know when I will be available for a call. The Timer doesn’t know it
