DSM 7.1 Active Backup for Business requires a manual start on Mac

I'm trying ABB on my DS918+ with DSM 7.1.1. I can start it manually but it does not start at the scheduled time. I want to backup two Macbooks. Is there a trick to this? Thanks.

Has it ever worked? May be add some more info on what configuration you have, how the Macs are configured to connect to the ABB service.

I have Mac Minis and MacBook Air backing up to ABB on a DS218+.

Note sure if this affects you or not, but do note that If you schedule a backup and the computer is off at that time or not hooked up to the network at that time, then it will skip that scheduled backup and wait for the next time.
