DSM 7.0 Anyone get passwordless key-based SSH access to work in DSM 7?

Has anyone figured out how to get SSH keys working (passwordless shell access) with DSM 7? It seems to operate differently than DSM 6 in this regard, and my searches haven't turned up anything new specific to DSM 7.

ssh -vvv gives the following error:
debug1: Remote: Ignored authorized keys: bad ownership or modes for directory /volume1/homes/<username>

However, I've already gotten myself into trouble on another DSM 7 installation by trying to adjust permissions manually using chmod-- apparently, that overrides the Synology ACLs, so I don't want to mess things up again.

Any tips?

SSH will not work in this manner unless there are strict permissions on the keys file and the folders it lives in

chmod 0711 ~
chmod 0711 ~/.ssh
chmod 0600 ~/.ssh/authorized_keys

Will this interfere with the DSM 7 ACLs?

Thanks, that worked! I'm checking the ACLs now... they seem to be OK so far.

May I suggest to repace the 0711 ones with 0700? There is no need to give group and other any permissions.
