Automated docker restart

Hello everyone, new here so getting to grips with things, trying to get my torrents to work with a VPN, and think ive got it working with transmission-openvpn in a docker container, however the problem i have is after a period of inactivity the connection drops and therefore newly added items wont download, if i shut down then restart the container, all works fine.

So is there a way, preferably with a guide, to get DSM to restart that container on a daily basis automatically?

Simple script run under Task Scheduler...

docker container restart

So DSM task scheduler, user generated script...

Then I put...

docker container restart haugene-transmission-openvpn

Then select the time etc and it will work?

That looks like it.

You can run the task manually to test that it has worked: check in Docker to see the container's uptime has reset.
