A badge system is an additional tool to our trophy system. You can earn badges with certain tasks on the forum. Here's a list of badges on our forum:

This list can be updated with new badges, of course. As you can see, some badges are auto-awarded (by specified criteria) and some can be awarded only by our staff.
Q: Do I get a notice if I am awarded a badge?
A: Yes, you'll get a forum alert.
Q: Where can I see my earned badges?
A: Earned badges can be found on the profile page in the Badges tab:

Q: Can I show my badges in posts, member tooltip, and below my name in the profile?
A: Yes, by default all your badges are visible in those positions, but you can also feature the badge and show just this one. Just click on the bullhorn icon next to the badge name in Badges tab. You can show up to 3 featured badges by your choice.
