Loud explosion! House goes dark!
(Except for things on UPS).
Watching TV at the time. Didn’t miss a beat!
Calls to neighbors. Some with, some without power, on generator. Some heard explosion. All called company. They are Aware.

Generator, Surge, and UPS’s have paid for themselves!

Edit: Everything is fine. Nary a burp!

Mountain living! It’s ‘different’ than Chicago was!

Ended up being transformer on the road that goes behind & 50' above roof of garage, (Side of mountain) feeding lots off that road. Our house is uphill & set back from main road so far that we get fed from that line. Repaired
