Broken DS923+ memory clip

I have found a solution to the broken clip issue for the top slot. Discovered that the top ones are not robust, so break easily. In my case, I discovered that you can slide a 1.8mm or 2mm by 150mm or longer cable tie under the clips of the lower slot and use it to secure the memory on the top slot.

Anyway, there is a HD Video switcher in a TV remote truck running around somewhere with that exact same repair in it! We would rent the truck for parades and such for 3-4 years before my retirement. What started out as an emergency field repair, became permanently installed. Wherever that is now, bet it’s still there!
