DSM 6.2 Caldav not being accepted by other calendars

Synology Calendar has me pulling what little hair I have left out. Id appreciate your help.

It syncs fine with my desktop Morgen calendar but will not work with either of their mobile apps. Or with Full Calendar on my Obsidian. Also when I try tried with Davx5 it synced as cardav and not caldav and listed my contacts rather than calendar. Not sure how or if that relates and im not interested in solving that issue in particular but mention it in case its relevant
I used this guide to install things FYI

Thanks for responding. here is the http://my nasip:5000/caldav/user for caldav.
I have never given my carddav to DAVx which is why its strange that it comes up when i give my caldav but here it is http://my nasip:5000/carddav/user/81d0c6ae-066b-4f51-b727-4cad4

I have tried using https and 5001 to no avail.
You helped someone with a similar query here CalDAV stopped working . I am not sure I understood it correctly but, I made a firewall rule in DSM to allow 5005 and 5006. still no joy

These ports are not used by Synology Calendar. No firewall rule is necessary.
here is the http://my nasip:5000/caldav/user for caldav.
Try this format...
https://NAS_IP:NAS_HTTPS_PORT/caldav/username

For example if your NAS' HTTPS port is 5101, and IP is 192.168.1.142

Before using that URL in your CalDAV client (ex. DAVx5, Thunderbird...) Enter into your browser tab. You should be asked for your NAS credentials if everything is correct.

For CardDAV, use a similar URL substituting "carddav" for "caldav". Again, test it by entering the URL in your browser to see a login request.

Obviously, using your LAN IP will only work when LAN connected. Otherwise, substitute your DDNS domain for the LAN IP

If you think your NAS firewall is interfering, temporarily disable it and test the links.

Thanks...Using the ipaddress you suggested does prompt me for my credentials. When i log in i get this message "GET requests on collections are only supported for calendars." which seemed promising to me

If I do the same with the secret.synology.me there is no connection . if I https://secret.myds.me:5001/ it connects to DSM

However the result has been the same. My Obsidian and phone are both connected to home network and neither are able to connect to via caldav. Turning off firewall made no difference.
Any further assistance appreciated

... And the same strange thing with DAVX. I put in the caldav details. It seems to go ok but what i get is a single tab for cardav (the caldav and webcal tabs are missing). that does show my address books but cant actually get past that screen to my contacts themselves. if i go to properties it shows the address i entered except carddav instead of caldav.
I have been trying to sort this out for two weeks and have noticed that each time I have tried. Not sure whow or why it is changing the address i input to carddav. Ive done it at least forty times so Im sure its not me writing the wrong word and several times i copy and pasted the caldav address.

I dont know enough to know how / if that is relevant

..and i tested the DDNS connection and it came back normal

For DAVx5 you have to add CardDAV as a second, separate account (using the CardDAV URL). I have 2 accounts, named myContacts and myCalendars.

OK, But I dont want contacts just the calendar. I told you about it in case it helped you (or anyone else) to figure out what is happening. Its strange that I enter caldav and it changes it to carddav. Seems like that might be relavant but perhaps not

How about the rest of my feedback...Any more thoughts. Did you look at the previous post I linked where you successfully helped someone with a similar (possibly same) issue?
Thanks
