I am not able to create a Shared Folder
At least I obtain this message below.
I tried different admin users, same result. I tried different browsers, no change.
Parameters: Pure default shared folder on ext4 (no quota)
Space available: 224GB out of 8TB
Synology DS412+
DSM 6.2.2.24922 Update2
At the end, the Shared Folder was created, despite the message, and - for now - it appears to work.
Possible reasons: it is just a guess! I "hardened" the security on the NAS using a couple of methods described here.

Change the default http (5000) and https (5001) ports of the DSM, to 6566 and 9875
Enable https connection and connection redirection to https

First check: HTTP connection and port
- I re-enabled port 5000 for HTTP
- I removed the redirect from HTTP to HTTPS
