Hey, I bought a Synology NAS (DS218play) a few days back. I've been trying to log into my Synology account inside the DSM and it won't let me. When I log into Synology in my browser, and then try to add my device with the serial number, it won't let me. I tried to create a support ticket, but since I can't register the device, that's not possible either.
I'm somewhat tech-savvy and it isn't that big of a deal to use without the account, just thought it'd be nice to have quickconnect available, instead of switching networks constantly.
When I go to the Synology Account tab inside of the DSM, it tells me it's busy or doesn't have an internet connection. It's been 2 days, so it definitely isn't busy still. And I've set up a WebDAV server which is fully remotely accessible and usable, so it isn't an internet issue either. I've tried resetting and all the obvious things. but feel free to list them still incase I forgot any I guess.

It was purchased brand new, only 2 days ago, has fully compatible drives and is properly connected to the internet. As for other setup: it has 2x 1TB drives, running in Synology's own SHR (I believe that was the acronym, the hybrid raid thing).
The attached screenshot is of the error I get in the Synology Account tab inside the DMS. Additionally, if I actually click ok and then try to log in, it says something along the lines of "Logging in, please wait" and then ofcourse doesn't log in. Any ideas?
(Also, feel free to refer me to a better forum to ask this in. All the other forums seemed more like discussions places than just tech support questions lol)
