Can't seem to get connectivity for an R720 wired client

Just plugged a Synology drive into my R720 in an outbuilding where I have only one ethernet port. Doesn't seem to work. Shouldnt be a power issue as I have an ICX 128W switch and only 3 R720s running from it. Any ideas? Do I need to enable something in my ZD1200 for a wired client to work? Many thanks.

You've thinking about this a lot and are really into the nuts and bolts.

Any chance of re-phrasing it in English? Perhaps with actual device types mentioned, or links to webpages.

Sorry - this was mis-posted to this Synology forum. Should've gone to the Ruckus forum (I have recently upgraded my WAPs and posted in the wrong forum by mistake). Am getting appropriate help there...
