I have a valid LE cert for xxxxxxxx.synology.me.

When I attempt to reach Plex using the link in Package Center/Plex
http://xxxxx.synology.me/32400/web

I get from Edge:

When I inspect the certificate for this page, it is for Plex.com, not my DDNS domain. If I allow an exception (Pale Moon browser now...) it leads to app.plex.tv and the following warning appears...

It seems my DDNS is redirected to plex.tv which then redirects back to my NAS (where I executed the URL originally from Package Center/Plex).

What's with the cert issue and running in circles from NAS to plex.com to NAS. I'm dizzy from it all.

aha then ok. well, roundabout is normal as your account is talking to plex.tv for authentification, and then drops you back to your server over lan (as it was initiated from lan).

Now edge as many new browsers are implementing CORS, HSTS protections, it could be that Edge is just trying to tell you that "something" is happening that is not by the book.

Bet if you access your nas via Plex you will not have that warning. IMHO, ignore it while in lan
