Cliff notes—sealed in a plastic bag

An outside camera died. Raining. Swapped devices inside to determine it’s either camera or buried cable.
Dry this evening— opened up:

ANTS! Used ant & termite spray -also for contact cleaner on Ethernet.
After second cleaning of Ethernet connector using ant spray as contact cleaner, spare camera boots on buried POE cable!

Original camera in plastic bag with ant spray will open it up in couple days to clean out insects and examine camera.

Won’t know until camera examined and bodies removed if camera is alive or not.
Years ago, I did squeeze some silicone glue in camera base, but I cannot determine ants got through it. Lotsa crap in there - Hense the wait inside a sealed plastic bag!

Cliff Notes: Camera Dry, but dead... IR Led's come on for boot start, but never boots... Even of Factory Reset procedure. Gets physically warm in 15min...

Suggestions for an outdoor rated, POE, Stand alone camera with Motion Detect, 16mm fixed focus lens, H264, 4MP or Better?
Do Not Need Zoom, but need 16mm or better fixed focus...

Today completely disassembled camera to 3 boards.
Verified no humidity made it inside chassis.
Starts but fails boot.
If I had a spare would shotgun lowest board, as it’s the most likely culprit. No spare.
I’m guessing:
Bottom board: cpu/ram
Middle board: POE and power regulation ??
Top board: Camera
Tried removing one or two boards: Still No boot.
Kept boards as camera I’d already manually swapped with 16MM Lens. If I get another, I might see if camera swap works.
Any suggestions for camera with specs as posted earlier, needing only one SS license, would be appreciated, as HiKvision no longer sells fixed focus cams at 16MM.
