On a thread two moths ago, I was flummoxed by my domain cert auto-renewal. As it turned out Cloudflare is taking care of that for me.

So I was surprised today when I received two cert renewal alerts, appx 6 hours apart.

Using crt.sh... I see that the first renewal involved Let's Encrypt. OK... thank you Cloudflare.

However, the second renewal involved Google Trust Services LLC. Huh?

Both authorities extended my cert, that was scheduled to expire in July, into September.

Why did my cert get updated via Google (could this be something I did with my Google account, that I have forgotten)?

I'm sure this is all harmless, but I'd like to better understand the processes managing my domain cert. Thanks!

I would use Docker if your NAS is able. More likely to have current updates.

Had my eye on Tail for some time. Waiting for the official final Docker support. Still not there completely.
