DDNS not working

Can you give a bit more info on this problem? This is your 720+ model? What DSM version are you currently running? What is the status of the DDNS service inside Control Panel > external access?

yes its the 720+. dsm 7.0.1-42218. it says that its working

DSM 7 removed support of some third party DDNS services. Which DDNS service are you using?

  ClouDNS, DNO-O-Matic*, DNSEXIT, Dynamic DO!.jp, Joker.com, RU-CENTER, TwoDNS.de, Variomedia, Zoneedit.com

* I think that's DNS-O-Matic from OpenDNS (now Cisco). But I got it to work with a customised DDNS provider in DDNS settings.


Which router are you using? There has been an ongoing issue with Netgear's Armor feature and DSM's 7 DDNS implementation.

I'm seeing an issue today whereby the DDNS settings on the DS918+ are blank (instead of the external IP being shown) and the NAS is reporting there is no external connectivity. On checking the Synology account for the connection that reports all is normal. I've rebooted the NAS and it looking...
