In the beginning days I used Synology's QuickConnect service for access, until I learned Reverse Proxy. Currently, I do not use nor have QuickConnect turned on, and under the security certificate tab I see an entry for QuickConnect. The option to delete this is greyed out and disabled; this is expected behavior as noted somewhere in a KB, online sources/forms, and confirmed by Synology Support you cannot delete this.

Would anyone know of a way to delete this certificate through SSH command lines or some other loophole? I'm aware it serves no purpose or causes an issue however it just sucks looking/seeing it and its "expired" status.

Thanks.

I guess that this certificate is marked as default, if so then do the following:
  1. Right-click on another certificate and select Edit.
  2. Tick Set as default certificate and click OK.
  3. Go back to the certificates list and select the certificate you wish to delete. Right-click and select Delete.

Won't work that way. First, there is already another cert. that is considered default; which is the Reverse Proxy.

Secondly, it is mentioned in Synology KB that after DSM 7.0 you cannot delete the Quick Connect certs (at least via GUI..I think) hence wondering if it can be done via SSH / command line.

QC is not enabled so, you should be able to remove then but, you can't so, I would create a Ticket for this.

Maybe this Topic helps? (first post)

Create a Ticket because it's a bug then.

For what it's worth, I'm seeing exactly the same thing. Quickconnect is disabled, Quickconnect cert is not default, and is not selected in any of the certificate "settings," but I cannot delete the Quickconnect cert. On the other hand, I don't think it's hurting anything (except my OCD tendencies) by being there.
