I have a DS720+ which is scheduled to turn off at 10PM and turn on at 8AM, this works fine. My question is, is there a way to disable the schedule when the unit is turned off via the power switch. This is the way my older Netgear ReadyNAS Duo and I find it quite useful. I haven't found a way to do this with the Synology NAS which means that I need to go into the control panel and disable it manually.
Does anyone know of a way to set the power switch to preform this function?

As far as I know this is not possible and that is by design.
You can pull the plug :)
