Okay I think everyone knows I'm a newbie to the world of NAS....... and I've a horrible feeling I'm either missing something or have been doing something wrong.....

I've been creating shared drives (as and when needed) and deleting them as I've been going along my learning curve. The error I may have made is that I've not been deleting the files the share contains prior to deleting it.

The reason for querying the above is that I deleted a number of large shared folders and the disk space does not seem to be decreasing.

So did I follow a poor process and if so how do I get that space back.

when you have BTRFS, just start Data scrubbing:
Storage manager/ Storage pool/ Data scrubbing
Select the storage pool on which to perform Data Scrubbing
Click Manual Run
