Pop a DX213 expansion unit onto your 18xx+ unit and you get a 10-bay NAS like I have.

Hotspares only. I turn off the extension unit when I work from home, and I turn it on when I leave to go on trips to have it automatically repair while offline from the server. In my profesisonal opinion HS is only needed during traveling. In this picture I powered it on for my 2-day trip.
