I have other apps & facilities I'd like to install (browser, NAS speedtest etc.) but most require Docker. But there is no Docker within my package!
Is this normal?
How do I get it or how else do I install other apps?

Docker is only supported on the following models:

So, my DS416 is running at < 1% the rated data bitrate of my hub, but I can't even do a speedtest because I can't install a speedtest tool and I can't do an online speedtest because I can't even install a browser.
It's essentially just a very slow external hard disk as things stand.

I think the gist is that using Docker would allow access to install these monitoring tools. But as already said there is the option to use the packages from SynoCommunity, which is back and I see has updates for a lot of packages including SynoCLI Monitor Tools.

Caveat emptor, as the saying loosely goes.
