downgrading package

Hello,

I am deliberating downgrading a package from synology (snapshot replicatino) to an earlier version. Synology provide no path for this (no surprise here). So I would need to uninstall the package, then install an older version (which I have downloaded). This then needs to re-connect to its partner's (also synology) volumes for the replicated snapshots. Having to re-synchronize everything to the partner NAS is not an option. It would be nice to keep current settings but that is optional.

Is there a way to somehow hack the downgrade to make this work? Suggestions appreciated.

Would love to be able to downgrade from 6.2.4 back to 6.2.3 on 215J
Wouldn't be concerned about losing all data... On drives... All data backed up elsewhere..
