Drive Folder

Inside each user folder on my DS218+ NAS is a folder called "Drive". I have looked everywhere and haven't found anything about it. What the purpose of this folder

How can I remove the default "Video", "Photo", "Music" & "Documents" folders? I have no purpose for them. I have my own Project-based filing system. As far as I'm concerned they're all simply "Files".

Did you install Synology Driver Server?

Yes, I did. But it was done when first installing DSM. I installed the default packages. One of the YouTube videos recommended it. So my guess is that "Drive" is somehow connected to the Synology Driver Server? And thanks for getting back to me.

AFAIK its where the users data from the Drive application are stored. Its like Dropbox or Nextcloud. This is where the data is stored. Or if they use Drive to backup their PC/Mac, the data is stored here.

Based on my limited knowledge of trying Drive which, from a Mac users POV, is pants.

"Synology Drive creates a personal Drive folder for users and in there there will be Moments, Documents, and Backups folders. This package doesn't create its own shared folder but can use other existing shared folders as Team Folders."

To underscore what others have said... the /home/Drive folder is where users sync their private stash. If user collaborate, then you assign shared folders as Team Folders.

I hope not. Only administrators can do that. If your users can see other users there is something dreadfully amiss.
