Drive ShareSync direction stuck on "Two-way sync"

I am trying to connect two NASs through ShareSync, having one nas as a "master" and one as "slave". I want the "master" to send files to the "slave" and not the other way around.

On the "master", I tried to set up the share by following the documentation.

However, when I try to sync the "homes/myuser" folder under Sync Mode>Sync direction, I only get the "Two-way sync" option. If I click on the "i" icon it says "When the shared folder or local sync folder has no write privileges, sync direction will be disabled".

On both NASs:
  • Control Panel>Shared Folder>homes>Edit>Permissions the "myuser" user has Read/Write permissions. Also, under "System internal user" dropdown, the "SynologyDrive" user has Read/Write permissions.
  • Synology Drive Admin Console>Team Folder the "homes" folder is enabled
How can I change this to "Upload data to the remote Synology Drive server only"?

Models:
DS3617xs (Master)
DS920+ (Slave)
Both DSM Versions: DSM 7.2.1-69057 Update 5

Did you read further down in that documentation this section, and does it fit with what your seeing & your setup?

“You can sync the homes folders between the local Synology NAS and the remote Synology NAS via Synology Drive ShareSync. To ensure data consistency, a sync mode is automatically set depending on your scenario and cannot be modified.

When syncing the homes folder on the local Synology NAS and the homes folder on the remote Synology NAS, the sync mode will be set as Two-way sync.

When syncing the homes folder on the local Synology NAS to a non-homes folder on the remote Synology NAS, the sync mode will be set as Upload-only.

When syncing the homes folder from the remote Synology NAS to a non-homes folder on the local Synology NAS, the sync mode will be set as Download-only.”
