Hi everyone.
Currently, I have DS418J with 4x4 TB drives (SHR, 4x WD Ultrastar 4TB SATA 512) and I'm using it mainly for videos and series. I'm running out of space so I need to add new drives. I have available 2x WD Red Plus 10TB WD101EFBX.
a) Can I swap two 4 TB drives for two 10 TB drives, doing it one by one and then repairing the degraded storage pool?
b) Since drives are of a different variety, will they work together? How long is the rebuild time?

Thanks!

Good to hear. You could also clone the drive and expand the data partition using Clonezilla/gParted.
