I have a strange issue with my DS918+

I start up the NAS normally.
After 30-45 minutes the NAS beeps 3 times, all lights go out except of the power button which flashes blue continuously
When I restart the NAS, I need to install DSM again. No data is lost
The NAS runs normally again for 30-45 minutes and then history repeats itself

Does anyone have an idea what is going on ?

Thanks for your quick feedback.

NAS and HDD were bought end of 2019.

During the time that the NAS is running I checked the HDD and RAID health and no issues are being reported. Everything is green. Once I have installed the DSM again, all the data on the HDD is still available.

Some additional info : the Synology website describes a way to check the health of the mainboard : Mijn Synology NAS kan niet worden opgestart en de Power LED -indicator blijft knipperen. Wat kan ik doen? - Synology Kenniscentrum
I ran this test and the mainboard should still be OK.
 
what raid configuration do you use?

Did you try to remove the disks/case, clean out your DS using vacuumcleaner and brush, reseat the disks and try again? It could be something heating up over time.
 
Tested with the Power supply of another Synology NAS, but the problem persists :(
I would advise then to open up a ticket and have Syno support have a look at the logs. Maybe they will detect the issue and see why the DSM installation keeps failing over time.
