My NAS is currently running DSM 7.2.1-69057 Update 5 and indicates it is "up to date". DSM 7.2.2 has been out a while now, so I'm curious as to why I'm not seeing a notification. I know that the rollout varies by model and geo, but just wondering as it has been a while now. I am in UK, if that matters. Can anyone confirm that DS920+ is compatible with 7.2.2?

Synology is rolling out the major upgrades (or downgrades some would call 7.2.2) in a phased way.
This is for two reasons:
1) in case of a problem, they can bug-fix before all users are affected; there is time to collect user feedback.
2) load on their servers.

Security patches or other urgent bug-fixes are rolled out in a much shorter timeframe.

You can download and install manually if you want to bypass the phased roll out. DS920+ is definitely compatible.

My DS1520+, also in UK, only started to alert for the DSM 7.2.2 update a couple of days ago. You can certainly do a manual update.

The auto notifications for model years 2018 and earlier have stopped. Maybe even [some] 2019? The release notes have this info. But I think it’s model years 2015 and earlier that were the ones dropped from DSM 7.2.

The easiest thing to do is go to Synology’s Download Center web page and select you NAS. Then select the upgrade DSM from version X to Y. It will tell you what you need to do.

Maybe a childish question but, you never know:
