Hello,
I recently purchased a DS920+ to replace my DS220+, as I wished to add more drives and disk space.
I use my Synology exclusively to stream films (4K) and tv (HD) to my television via Kodi over NFS running on an Android Shield (2019), and I'm wondering if adding SSD/NVME cache drives or RAM would enhance this experience. I'm not currently experiencing any problems, no stuttering or buffering, simply very slow to start music playback (which may be a Kodi) issue, but as this is a new device, I thought I would ask if either of these upgrades would impact video playback at all.
Thank you!
