Recently found that my unit would not power on after i shut it down a few days ago. No power outages and i do have it connected to an UPS 24/7 with protection.

Only lights i see when i plug in the PSU to the back are the link lights for ethernet but when i go to press power button, nothing, no blinking just no lights on front.

Unplugged PSU from UPS and testing on house outlet and same. PSU LED is green.

Removed HDs and memory, no change. Swapped PSU for new one, no change. Reseated flash card and PCIe M2 card, no change. I do not see any damaged components either.

Does this unit have the Q2/Q4/100 ohm resistor problem? should i try shorting Q4 to see if it starts like 1815 users found? Any diagrams of this board? couldn't find any yet online.

I measured 12vdc on the power pins with red boxes but 0 on the other two.

The 100ohm issue is applicable to models with the specific intel cpu. Not DS920.
I would suspect, like you, something in the power, starting with the on/off switch.

Does a schematic exist for this board somewhere to know what components are involved for power?

Or is it possible to move these drives in raid 5 to another synology nas, say 923+ without losing my data?

It is always possible to migrate to a newer NAS with at least the same number of bays and same or higher type.
See the migration part on the knowledge base.
