DSM7.0 RC facial recognition

I see a lot of confusing info to me on dSM7.0 facial recognition. I have a DS218+. With DSM7.0 will facial recognition work?

facial recognition is beyond the purpose of a NAS
it is also beyond it's capabilities

you can use your compact family car to help you moving to a new house,
but you shouldn't complain if it has no room for your sofa or your double door refrigerator

I just looked on vDSM 7 RC running on my DS218+, here's an admin user's Settings option...

Not sure if the People album is available on vDSM even if it's not available on the underlying hardware platform.

Thank you I have a 218+ this is helpfull. Im hoping that with that it will match faces.

I can confirm that the People album isn't available in a DS215j (as expected). So that shows that the DS218+ does support it.

"Automatically Created Albums" section is missing in Photos on DS215j...
