Here. If both ends do not fully support it it might cause problems (errors) if enabled, to my understanding.

Granted the SRM help page is useless for this. The setting is on the Internet config page so is it just for the WAN side, or LAN, or just LAN?

I have it enabled and all seems to work but then my setup is
  • WAN port to Virginmedia Super Hub 3 (FWIW)
  • LAN port 1 to TP-Link TL-SG108E switch which supports Green Energy (FWIW too)
