"File Station" and "Synology Drive" have different sharing models

I shared two folders from an admin account in DSM 7.2. They show up correctly in File Station for account "ervan":

But do not show up in "Synology Drive" (also under account "ervan"):

Ah, the problem is that sharing from "File Station" only shares to "File Station" and sharing from "Drive" only shares to "Drive". This seems like a needless (and confusing) distinction.

At first it might, but those are too separate platforms, Drive being completely optional. Also, you might have users on the NAS who have no access to File Station and only collaborate via Drive, so the share function has to be separate or rather duplicated.
