Maybe an auto-speed setting for their current setup would be enough. Hotswap fans would be a massive upgrade

According to the homepage it also supports snapshot & replication (currently in beta) - finally star trek reached my frig

To which the first response is: "Are you running Synology Teenager Server? You may have a long time ago installed Synology Child Station* and then forgot because it stopped appearing. Set a schedule for night and see if there's some activity."

*Synology Child Station was replaced by Synology Teenager Server. It uses the same communication ports but takes a lot more resources.

Hunh! And I just gave away my Drobo cos it ran too hot (and it was a piece of junk). I could've put it in this to cool it off!
