Opened DSM to find 15 package updates hit tonight.

Can this be real... I'm too suspicious to find out...

Weirdly too... these updates are dated Jan 19 2021 on the archive page, while the release notes say Feb 23 2021.

Anyone else seeing this?

I dont see nearly that many apps, but most are in docker anyways. Still I do see some apps that got an update, like Snaptshot and VMM

No updates are provided for me on DSM7...
It could be that some core component used by many apps needed update. When this core component is not deployed with DSM, then you need to update all these apps for updating this core component.

@rbueeler DSM 7 is still in beta so expect things to be different. But DSM 6 is the official release and should be alerting for package updates.

Recently the update notifications have been very sporadic: such that it could be months after a package update and these is still no alert.

Heh... If this was an company environment instead of a home environment, I would be spending alot more time submitting Change tickets and attending CAB's then updating all these apps itself..

Audio Station (ha, I uninstalled), Antivirus Essential (useless, to be uninstalled), CardDAV Server (uninstalled), Node.js v12 (reqd for Synology Calendar/Contacts/Application Services), OAuth Service, Python Module (uninstalled...CardDAV Server), Python3 (for Synology Contacts), Snapshot Replication, File Station, Synology Contacts, VPN Server, WebDAV Server, Log Center, Storage Analyzer, Universal Search.

Still have 8 to address... waiting for bugs reports.

I just got the DSM update notice... but I'm holding out on 6.2.4... there's just too much weird reports on this... though none seem to affect what I use... Still, 6.2.3 U3 has served me well.

I updated Docker some time ago, to the recalled one and this latest, and haven't noticed any problems. But I'm not overly taxing it.

I've been updating one per day... I'm down to Docker and WebDAV. Looks like Docker is for today.

Still holding tight to 6.2.3, as the current DSM update looks unattractive.

Well... that was odd. Manually updated Docker-x64-18.09.0-0519.spk and got a failed notice. Canceled the windows and opened Package Center and Docker was running with the update version. Containers seem OK. Not sure I'll try that again
