New here and grateful to find a friendly forum for Synology Stations. I move from a Seagate Goflex drive the gave up it's ghost to a Synology DS920+ My main use is primarily backup of personal files, phots and data. However I'd also like to learn all the ins and out of what's capable beyond that. Quick question, is there a beginners forum here:)

You will find lots of interesting tutorials there. There is also one 101 tutorial there that might help you get started.

In any case search the forum a bit and if nothing else, fire away with questions.
