Okay I've now finally got the HIK Vision CCTV cameras working in Homebridge (in Docker) yay me. But even though they work they are somewhat slow to respond.
Whilst investigating the process of getting the cameras working I came across a post that a guy on Reddit made and he said that to incorporate cameras in Homekit a smoother system would be to use Scrypted instead of Homebridge.
So does anyone have experience of both systems, if so can you validate his comments at all?
