We have purchased the expansion unit DX517, created SHR Vol3 on it.
Now I need to move all the data from Vol2 located on the NAS (which is too small now) to the new DX517 Vol3.

Is there a way how to move all the data From Vol2 (NAS) to Vol3 (all of them on btrfs of course) together with all the existing snapshots?

I guess it is not posible but want to check with more experienced users...

Thanks for an advice!

In case all of your data is on a shared folder, you can relocate the shared folder to the new volume, just bij editing the properties and change the location of the shared folder.

For packages there isn’t a simple way to move them. You can back them up with Hyper Backup, uninstall, and restore to the other volume.

As already said, moving shared folders is possible using Control Panel's Shared Folder page. Select the shared folder and Edit it. Select a new Location from the dropdown list.

This is obvious for DSM users.
Unfortunately as I already said: it does not work. Moving Shared folder delete all snapshots.

It seems, that there is no way to move a directory together with all snapshots in btrfs. hmmm

No it does not work
Correct. The Knowledge Center states...

The destination volume of a Snapshot Replication task is not changeable after the task is created. To replicate the shared folder or LUN to a different volume, delete the existed replication task and recreate a new one.
