How to provide ssh access for NAS user

I have tried by enabling SSH connection in NAS for one of the users in NAS . But, I have got this when I did ssh -X username@IP..

Synology strongly advises you not to run commands as the root user, who has
the highest privileges on the system. Doing so may cause major damages
to the system. Please note that if you choose to proceed, all consequences are
at your own risk.

Could you please suggest me how to do this.
