Ah right, fair enough. :)

Back on topic ...... Edge.... I've turned off HTTPS on the site and hitting it using the IP address still gives a HTTP 502 error. Bad gateway.

Happens with any othe https site on your end? 502 would usually mean that you should be going over https and you are running http or vice versa.
 
It happens with no other chromium browsers at all only Edge. It seems not to matter whether the NAS is using HTPS or not, same problem is there. I've cleared caches etc, no difference.
I've just uninstalled it and I'm downloading a fresh copy as I type. Well a fresh install seems to have fixed the issue I'm very gad to say!

Ok, changing the ports didn't help. I refreshed the Synology / LE certificate too but that didn't seem to...
