Hi there,

I am having an issue with Hyper Backup 3.0.0-2277 on DSM 7. I updated to DSM 7 a week or so ago.

Recently at the location of my remote destination NAS we had a power outage, which resulted in the reassignment a new IP address to our modem there. In the past, this hasn't been a problem as I could open Hyper Backup task on the source NAS, edit the backup, and just enter the new IP address. The new destination would be recognised, and everything would be back to normal (albeit with a new destination IP address).

Now when I try to do this, when I edit the Hyper Backup task on the source NAS, it tries to connect to the old redundant IP address as part of the Task Editing process, and when it won't connect I have no option to change the old IP address to the new one. It just spits me out.

I have also tried to creat a new backup task to the new IP address, but another issue arrises after I enter the new IP address, then click Log In - no dialog box pops up.

Has anyone else experienced similar issues, or could suggest a solution?

Haven’t looked into editing / relinking task destination in HB on DSM 7, but have experienced the login issue. It’s discussed in this thread.

Mmmm interesting, may be an issue with my web browser then? I’m using Edge, I’ll try others… Thx.

Glad to know it’s not just me with the login dialog box issue!
