For some reason, my firewall/router or even the NAS was occupying port 443, preventing the IDrive configuration page at https://your.nas.com/IDrive/index.php from loading, which eventually timed out.

Below is my solution for those who encounter a similar problem: I created a custom IDrive portal with a different port that I could forward to the NAS in the firewall/router.
